Me don't know what to think of this internet stuff ...nets are to catch fish, and they get inter-twined. Too many of us get caught up in this inter-net stuff, or become like a walk into the parlor with some of these websites. And the 'click' stuff ...reminds me too much like a gun. You hear a click, or you see a click ...not much difference, in both cases, ye likely will soon be filled with something not good. But, here we are ...and hopefully we won't point at anyone, yet we might'n just be able to do some good. Me saw too much of the other in me days, and tis time to look at things a bit more squarely. 

No, that's not what me said ...not background chicks.

Hey, put that gun away ...those aren't empty shells!! You could hurt someone!! 

Too late ...you weren't supposed to point, but point taken. A bit closer ...but, this is not supposed to be a yoke either.


So, what eggs-actly is me tryin' to say??

No, we don't want to say anyone is cracked ...but, fact is, it's been said there're those who've fried, and arguably those who are a bit scrambled.  And when they get violent ...the rest of us get a bit boiled.

And it's not just the responsibility of the gun dealers to do background checks, or the government to attempt to somehow efficiently regulate. We need to 'check' ourselves. Yes, most families know of family members who have guns, who really shouldn't have them.

Gangs should not have guns ...yet, most would not be considered gangs if they didn't.  It seems gangs never cease to exist.

But, the other thing is, that in most cases there have been past crimes ...or with many of the youth, whom seem to commit some of the worse crimes, there are parents who either are somewhat aware of warning signs, or are participating in some inept form of parental guidance ....often encouraging, or enabling it.

And what's in your closet??

And maybe you've been hangin' around the wrong places ...or with the wrong people.

You don't have to necessarily stop being friends ...but, perhaps you can take a good look at what kind of friend you are.

Just sayin' ...'n could say a bit more, but it's 'bout time each of us have a sincere talk with ourselves.

What do we say to ourselves??  Might'n be we tell ourselves to listen ...not to the countless voices out there, nor necessarily to the voices inside us.

At least we shouldn't listen to the loud angry voice inside us.

Maybe the soft quiet voice.

A great strong wind met the mountain, and broke the rock to pieces ...no, not there.

An mighty earthquake shook the earth, and the rock again got tossed about ...no, not there.

A fierce fire melted the rock, and cast its fiery flame for miles ...no, not there.

A soft wind blowing ...soothing the mind, and a quiet gentle voice speaks.

Yes, there is where we should listen.

And as we listen, we should discern whether it is quiet deception ...or the gentle truth of our LORD, rightly dividing His Word of truth in the Bible.

Yes, what kind of friend are we??  Do we accept the friendship of Jesus, and being a friend ...do we tell others about Him also??
